Why the secrecy, in PM?
just curious.

Two Moons, the only reason why I ask is because I'd rather send my friends to someone whom people know to be reputable. If I were looking for a GSD or Mali I would know where to go, but this is not a GSD.
Thank you all,
Melissa

I've never owned a Husky, but have always wondered what the fascination is. They are quite popular around here, in fact there is a breeder just up the road. Truthfully, I've never wanted one, because all I hear is that they are hard to keep home. (We are country bumpkins here ;) )
Soooo, I'm curious, why do you like them?

Oops, computer is messing up. I love the breed, but they are NOT for everyone. We have a big fenced in yard, but we also go running every morning, normally about 5 miles....a lot of times more..... Sometimes we go biking, but I don't feel too safe on the bike so I plan to get some good roller blades and start going down some of the straight roads. One time we went to our friends land, 40 acres.....lots of steep hills, good flat long pieces too, creeks, etc. I ran the bigger guys on the "mule" like a golf cart....I think we were probably going 10-15 mph the majority of the way for over 45 minutes. These guys could run for hours if you let them, they absolutely love it. I love the looks of the breed, and the intelligence. Many deem them stubborn or stupid, but I highly disagree with that. You just have to understand them and know what makes them work as a pack, and how to maintain balance with them. My guys don't care to roam.....I think the running every morning helps to get that out of them. I'll attach a picture of my Husky pack, inluding my youngest one "Kiara" who still has a lot of growing to do (we don't do the running with her due to her stil growing). The pup and the more medium colored male are from my breedings. The lightest colored dog is Sierra. For anyone who says Huskies can't do obedience, they haven't met her. She has a huge deisre to please, so does Max, the black and white Husky. These were all taken after our run, the first two pictures being the last ones taken....after the others. We run/walk....then they come back and play and chill out.
Theres 7 pictures so I tried to shrink them as much as possible. These are from a week ago.
The next one is kind of big, but this was zoomed in on the camera, and had to be cropped also due to me being so far away. A little blurry on Sierra.
