I am due this week we are on day 59 and her temperature yesterday was 100.3 and today it was 100.0..She is still eating good and drinking alot of water still a little active but not as usual...I have seen some gewy stuff coming out of her private but she is constantly cleaning all over herself even licks her blankets if she smells something she dripped..She has a very good keen sense of smell...Other than that we are waiting patiently...I was wondering I did not buy heating lamps won't a portable heater just do well in my bathroom. I do have heating pads though..

The problem with portable heaters is that they dry the air sometimes too much , and then the dogs are really thirsty and it takes ALOT more energy to warm a room than does one little plug in heating matt . You do NOT want to get a human flimbsy heating pad ( they will chew the cord and get buzzed/die ), it has to be a hard plastic matt that is a consistant 101* with the wire wrapped cord. Name brand Lectro kennel , try googling it.. I buy mine from Revival Animal Health.

Do not use a light or a heater,
it will be hard on her, she doen't need it, nor do the pups.

OKAY PUPPIES HAVE STARTED COMING AT 4:15PM IT IS NOW 7:24PM AND ONLY 3 DOWN AND 4 TO GO..Mom is doing great..Puppies cleaned and trying to eat..Will post pic when all have arrived...

So all 6 are suckling and mom ate well swallowed her food and is now resting..So vet says he only saw 6 but i could of swore there was 7 so tomorrow 6am to the vet..
