My pp is white on paws more than just toes and obvious white on the chest..... I can handle white on the chest but when the white is the size of  a tennis ball, than I think thats alot....I know white doesn't make the dog work less or better, but its just a pet peeve of mine.

Another one is, when people post adds and say top quality puppies and have pictures of parents tied to a tree with no grass in sight. Pictures of the puppies showing turned over bowls and they also are on dirt with no grass in sight. I would not be proud to advertise my puppies in this type of condition. Is this how top quality parents and pups are kept. Poor little back yard dogs don't deserve this type of life, much less top quality ones....

Am I too picky????

Wow where do i start i have many but my worst would have to be false advertising of some kennels. I have to agree with you on the white on chest, small amount fine but large areas just detract imo.

WOW way too many so no Nona you aren't too picky.lol
White on a dog that shouldn't be
long nails
people that advertise that they have the "best"
I could be on here all day but I won't.

LAVK-9, I have a thing against long nails too! I remember this retriever type dog that a teacher brought to class when I was in college. Its toe nails were so long they started to curl. I always felt like grabbing clippers right then and there. I wished I'd said something to him about it, but he probably would have dropped my grade.

Bee I would have cut the dogs nails. It drives me nuts when i hear tapping on the floor from the dogs nails. When i worked at the vet clinic my boss would get so mad at me cause when the animal was under I would cut it's nails wether the client asked. He said if it wasn't on the to do list we aren't to do it.Till one day when I wanted to and I didn't then the client called, after the mean dog had woken, and asked for us to clip the nails when it was out!!!! Grrrr From then on I didn't care what he said and no one ever complained that the dog's nails were short. They if anything thanked me for doing it,especialy the breeds that aren't so easy to clip nails on.

Just to name a couple that I saw happening at the dog park earlier... People who bring unspayed females who are in heat to "play" with the other dogs there. Or a guy I saw who was throwing one of those tiny tennis balls for his lab... My Shepherd proceeded to go over and steal it, and I had to snatch it away from her before she swallowed it and choked to death on it.

My pp is have to have a pet, cannot afford to take care of it properly, stick in on the end of a chain without proper housing, food or water.  Let the pup bark all night.     They told me to mind my own business until money talks, bought the pup :)
Always,
