PLEASE don't sit back and wait for someone else to do it - this time it's very important that we the members of USA do more than talk and complain about it - WE need to DO something about taking back our USA organization. The first step in doing this is to make sure the 2010 Nationals is in OHIO. This is the venue where more delegates can attend the meeting, more votes can be made to change the leadership, and get rid of the JA amendment - and get everything on track to make some big changes for the return of our sport to WE THE MEMBERS!!! Not to mention it is the very best venue for the competitors as well. Has anyone ever tracked in NEVADA?? Or California??? I have - not very nice.

But unless YOU each make a couple clicks and type a sentence to ALL of the RDs and DALs, this may not happen. Please take the few minutes necessary to contact the EB - links below! Tell them you as a member of USA want their vote to represent your wish to have the 2010 Nationals in Ohio!

thanks

OK Folks - and we are going to make it very easy for you - get busy this weekend, and this week - or SOON and contact YOUR RD, and ALL RDs, and ALL DALs, and ALL EB members - and tell them you want the 2010 Nationals to be held in Ohio. This is a very important first step in getting our organization turned around and back to the members. Please don't hesitate to take proactive steps in contacting these people and make your voice as a member heard - it is their votes that will determine the next step toward our goal!!!

here's the list contact any and ALL RD's/DAL's/Line Officers and let them know where you want the nationals... OHIO!!!

Folks,
You missed the opportunity to have your club delegates vote where the 2010 GSD National Championships will be held at the last GBM as there were no bids on the table. Now it's up to the Executive Board to MAKE that decision for YOU! Is that what you want?

Individual Members of USA… Now is YOUR opportunity to have your voice heard. Now is the time for all to contact your Regional Directors, Directors at Large and the Line Officers (you can get ALL contact information from the USA Website or the Magazine) let them know you want our 2010 GSD National Championships and General Board Meeting held in…. COLUMBUS, OHIO!

Don't delay in getting your emails, phone calls done. This bid will be hitting the EB soon! Don't pass up this opportunity; you are receiving notice BEFORE the ballot hits – not many opportunities like this one.

That's right… Ohio! I have posted a few pictures of the tracking fields in the Photo section here. The club has secured 250 acres of these beautiful fields. The link to Crew Stadium is http://web.mlsnet.com/t102/stadium/ … check it out! What a wonderful Stadium to show case your dog.

Yes, Ohio is hosting the WDC this spring, so why have the Nationals in the same location? Because it's the best venue! This is where WE can make a change!

Molly and Donna:

All due respect if people want to go to the Nationals for the General board meeting they will make the effort. As far as the remarks torward CA and NV tracking conditions. Any competitor faces difficulties trying to replicate the tracking in the region where the Nationals are. If your dog can track it can track. There are not too many soybean fields in CA and we had to do our best to just make do for the 2009 Nationals.

Me personally I am pushing our regional director to vote for NV and all west coast USA clubs should do the same. I am tired of seeing the Nationals out east. Last time the Nationals was out here on the west coast was in event was in 2006. 2007 Hot Ch was in WA and I do not count the Sieger show, you can have that. If any city could use the economic boost it is Reno.

Didn't Ohio have the Hot trial in 2008? Now the WDC and they also want the 2010 USA Nationals?

I personally believe USA needs to go back to a Rotation for National events..

Just my .02

Regards,

Mario Fernandez

Mario,

I agree!  The Nationals has been held in the East for the last four years : Iowa, Texas, Georgia, Alabama.  It is time for it to come back to this part of the country.  Every regional area has challenges for persons from outside those areas.  Actually, the last time the nationals were in the West was FIVE years ago, in San Jose, if I am not mistaken.

I always attend and will attend where ever it is held, but it really needs to come back to this side of the Rockies.

Iowa and Texas are east?  Really?

by VomMarischal on 09 March 2010 - 18:03

They are east to those of us on this side of the Rockies.

by Bob McKown on 09 March 2010 - 18:03

Like any good business, you have to support where you have the greatest market share, That being said the rotation is fair but I can undersatnd for the need to have it in the Mid West I believe that is where the strongest support for change is so to make a difference yes it would be more optimum for that reason.  It will be intresting to see where the powers to be want to push it possible to nagate that desired purpose.

by VomMarischal on 09 March 2010 - 18:03

I can understand that point, Bob, but UScA may be unintentionally turning their backs on even more people. If another group pays more attention to us out here, well...we would have to do what we would have to do. So if UScA values the people back east more, those of us out here may feel disenfranchised more than we already do. I certainly hope it doesn't end up with one Eastern club and one Western club.

by Bob McKown on 09 March 2010 - 19:03

Oh I agree it should be on a rotation, and because the clubs are spread that far it is only fair. I,m just saying I undestand why the push is to have it centrally.
