Awful and depressing;  think, they are out there every where.

The husband took the dog to the vet 12 times in seven months!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WHAT IN THE HELL WHAT THE VET THINKING????????????

If this was the same vet or clinic there has to be some liability here to report this suspected abuse to animal control or someone. Just like an MD must report child abuse or am I wrong???

Crap, this is sickening.  And I've seen some bad animal abuse. Sure hopes the little guy gets a good home and can recover enough to live a comfortable life.

As far as the woman - just take her out and  let the crypts and the bloods have a turn - Oh hell as mean as she is, she might enjoy that.   Second thought, take her to the Dog Pound and let her clean sh*t for a month and help Dr. abused cats and dogs.

Maybe she could learn a lesson.

She is a sick criminal.

I am with Tuff, responsibility falls also on the vet for not reporting the repeated incidents to police from at least the second visit.

*sigh*

I hope to God she doesn't and never will have children.
Hopefully getting the shit kicked out of her in jail will take the starch out of her sails.

I always believed in mandatory Spay/Neuter for humans and this is another case.  SHe would do the same to a child if she can do that to a puppy.  As for the vet, talk about a stupid vet.  I know as a Firefighter/Paramedic, we were mandatory reporters if we suspected abuse, neglect, exploitation with humans, but I am not sure if a veterinarian is a mandatory reporter.  The vet deserves a sign "Stupid".   Is the husband being abused by the woman as well? I wonder since he took the dog to the vet but never tried to turn her in.

Very disturbing indeed.  I certainly could not help but cry.  The little guy kept trying so hard.  What an awful hell he was living in.  I know he will get a good home.  I sure hope that he comes out of this fine.  Having myself lived the past 10 years with a dog out of abuse, I know it takes alot of work.   But it is so worth it!  And I certainly did not regret it.  I just want to hug that little fellow and tell him all will be right.  Thank goodness there was a video.  Just imagine what this woman has done indoors and more to her spouse.
