I should be grateful if someone could advise me regarding the following:
My bitch was at full estrus & ready to mate. She would flirt my male (the live next to each other) and let him mount her with no problems. So, I took her to another male that I wanted to mate her with.
The first day she was agressive to him so, even though he is an experienced male, he was kind of discouraged and did not try after 2-3 times that I took her to him.
I decided to let her stay with him for a couple of days. They got along well, no agression whatsoever but the male would not try again.
So, after a 4 day stay I decided to take her back. Hew vulva was not swollen any more and she apparently interrupt her estrus. She would let again my own male mount her but as soon as he was "close" or trying to enter she showed slight discomfort and slight agression so, I let her be and decided not to mate her this time (she has mated 2 times in the past).
After 4-5 days, I saw in her space that she vommited and showed no apetite (neither for food or play) and she seemed "down" to the point that I fear that a gastric torsion problem was taking place.
I took her to the vet, he palpated her did an ultrasound and he said that she had no such problem. He injected her with anti-vommit and told me to watch her. After 24 hours she drank a little water, I gave her a very little quantity to eat and she did. Moreover, I noticed a white discharge from her vagina and my male would curiosly sniff the area (bout no interest to mount whatsoever).
Could this abrupt stop of her estrus have caused some kind of infection?
Thank you very much for your feedback.

The vomiting may have just been a coincidence dogs do that a lot , If it were a serious infection she would be running a temp. You really need to pull progesterone to be able to know when the dog ovulates, then you could plan the breedings better, How many days was she in heat total??
