Good Morning Steve :)
How is my favorite guy doing this morning.  One of my first accomplishments I have checked off, was to certify Jami as an assistance dog.  With that done, this spring is to get her BH and in the fall get her Sch I.   I really want to have great tracking scores, so I am really going to tackle this project. I have all kinds of tracking surfaces here at work and will be able use them at different times of the day. I put one foot in front of the other and I hope all goes well for us this year. I as a handler am clear in the mind,  Ha Ha, but seriously I was having problems dealing last year with the illness and death of my dutch shepherd Astra.
This year I have complete confidence that I will trial and be successful.

Always,
Cee

It is great to have a goal to aim for, so many here in the Clubs i go too train there Dogs two or three times a week but have no plans or thoughts of what there aims are which is a pity

Goals for 2010:
Try to get relief for Nicco and subdue his scratching and chewing on himself. Hopefully starting a test group in May that might provide the answer or at least help us get closer to helping him.
Get a new Pup for My wife and I and one for my Son and his Family. Get both of these Pup's started in basic training and socialized by the end of the year. Actually 2011 will be the Goal to reach year. Sch 1 on both of the new Pup's....I will be very happy if this can happen. Improving Nicco's health is the Main Goal for 2010....

What are you feeding to your Nicco, May be a factor if your food you feed contains a lot of Grains, If it does change it for a non grain Kibble

Max
one other thing do you keep him indoors living and do you have the vcentral heating on if so that could be the problem My Dogs allmy life live outdoors never a problem with Shkin coat or anything else Perhaps if he is in doors then try and get him outside I am sure in a month you will see a change in his condition, Just a thought
