I,ve always been astounded at the #,s of people who cut down,mealy mouth others in the working dog world but are afraid to atleast mention what they have done or are doing with there dogs, they have no problem telling those of us who do take our time and hard work and exclaim "your doindg it all wrong" or "your to stupid to train a dog" or (My favorite) "thats not a real dog".

The old saying "When the flag drops the bull shit stops" fits here REAL WELL.

It's kinda like a back seat driver wouldn't you say? I can't wait to get back in the saddle )so to speak) and get another dog to train. Hell I wouldn't even mind training one for someone else. Would be nice to get paid to do it.lol I commend you Bob and all others that are able to get out there and compete. Kudos to you.

In the ocean of the working dog world I,m no more then whale pee, but i know my dogs and have a great respect for those that take the time to train and work there dogs and won,t give the time of day to those that just run there mouth and can,t back it up.

I love comments like "Well i hang around schutzhund clubs and they all do it wrong" or " your a k9 trainer but you don,t know shit" and don,t have the nerve to atleast put up some proven fact.

So people that hang around schutzhund clubs but don,t work dogs arent those called "groupies" Then they get on the net and hide behind cuite little screen names and then grow some balls.

Bob,
I know exactly where you are coming from. I was going to start a thread to clear up some of the misconceptions about dogs in protection work. But, heck I wouldn't know what a "real" bite is or how to read a dog, so I won't bother.

You are very correct and preaching to the choir.

Hey Bob,
I just noticed an ad for this dog with this picture. It's ears are back is it insecure? Is it defensive or just afraid because it's ears are back? Just wanted some thoughts. Now, I just saw the photo on one of the ads. I know what my opinion is, wondering if you think the same. I bet you do. I can post many more like this so I can show this is not a one time thing.
