Anyone here going to National Sieger?

Hey, do we have anyone going to National Sieger 2010 from this group? Just wondering because, I was thinking about going and didn't know what to expect. I know my hubby and I are doing World in Germany, but we are on the fence about Nationals.

I believe a few people are. There was thread asking about handlers to show their dogs there.

Have you been before? I haven't and I was wondering is it a easy fun event or more stress and worry type of thing.

We tend to be the laid back group, infact, we went to Regionals 2008 and didn't even bath or comb our dog. He still won first, but we were there for fun and the win was a bonus. We are unsure if Nationals will stressful or fun like Regionals.

I've been many times. It's both easy and fun and stressful. More competition at this level.

The WDA show or the USA show? I will be at NASS (WDA). I'm not going to the USA show, went last year and was not at all impressed.

W, I don't bathe my dog before shows either. His coat is either healthy and shiny or it's not, he only gets a bath if he was rolling in mud or something like that. I think diet is far more important.

AMEN to that! I did see people making such a fuss over their dogs coats. I felt bad for just a little bit, lol.

I would love to but I only have one vacation day left and our club is going to Nationals (and I think I'm doing photography). Also I am no longer a USA member, something about being a WDA member, in a WDA club, photography for WDA...doesn't look good for me I guess, lol. But I will hit up every other show in the Chicago area as long as it's on a weekend!
