I think that for the purposes of this dog you found, who is obviously in a painful phase, you might want to go with the commercial raw that already has the bone ground in. Then after the blood stops in a couple weeks, you ought to be able to switch her to prey model. I think that is what I'd do. OR, maybe you have one of those big grinders? I don't think she could handle chewed up bone right now.
PS. Sorry, forgot to say, I think I'd feed her small quantities very frequently.

Windy...it's very important that you NOT feed her alot. She is clearly not used to it. Small (very small) meals frequently the first few days, gradually increasing. Was the blood red? Or do you mean black, tarry type bloody stool?
As hungry as she was, she could've also eaten something that caused that; it might not be as bad as it seems. Let's hope vom Marischal is wrong about the colitis.
I, too, agree- boxer mix. Cute girl. Very cute.
