Sorry I just wanted to give an introdution : )

My name is Ashley and I am a German Shepherd addict, lol. I have owned German Shepherds in the past (mainly when I was younger) and just adore the breed. I have recently decided to get another one for Show and Working. I am quite fond of the German lines, however do have a soft spot for the American's. I currently have a Bernese Mountain Dog who is the laziest dog you will ever meet! Anyways ... figured I would post a little something about myself. I did not join this board to bash anyone, just seeking opinions from knowledgeable GSD owners/breeders, and I look forward to becoming an active member of this group!

Welcome, Ashley.

Everyone here, despite their differences, loves dogs..Some aren't GSD people, but hey, we all love our four legged friends!

I have long wanted a German line dog..I had an American line Shepherd that was a real coward (gun sure, though). I loved him though, and I wanted a German dog this time...Then This site introduced me to rescues, and I saw a thread about a blind pup...and I ended up adopting little Annie Oakley, American line GSD. She's incredible, and I love her very much.

You must have thick skin to be here, a lot of the time, but this is a good place to learn.
