Does anyone know of a website or book that has all the dogs that are the top stud dogs of today. I have this book,
THE COMPLETE GERMAN SHEPHERD DOG,
An entirely revised Edition of
THE COMPLETE ALSATIAN
Authors are Nem and Percy Elliot. This book was the greatest learning tool. If you know what I mean. The dogs in this book are found (if found), in 5th, 6th, and so on generations. They influenced the breed as it was for that time. I am looking for a book or website that may have the same for the dogs being used today that are influencing the breed today. Maybe kinda like, TODAY's GREAT ONES. Does this make sense?

There is no such book today. However, the SV publishes a list of stud dogs and their reported breedings. I cannot remember if it is done quarterly or otherwise. It says nothing of character, traits, etc., but does give one an idea of what is happening in Germany. As for the USA, it is a free for all and the information is not known.
