bulldogs

HI list !  I have 11 day old english bulldog puppies,a litter of 3. At birth 1 pup was 1 pound, 1 pup was 14 ounces, and 1 pup was 10 ounces. I have 2 pups that are very very fat and gain 2 ounces daily, Problem is there is 1 pup that only has gained 1 ounce. This puppy acts normal for the age moves toward moms nipple to eat and fight the others for placement on nipples. Puppy pees and poops normal.sucking action seems normal. I have started giving this 1 pup nutra cal to help and have started with goats milk also to help. Has anyone seen this i have never had this with my shepherds or bulldogs?????

If the pup otherwise seems normal, try to get it to mom alone so there is less competition, and giving some supplemental goats milk and nutra cal will help in the meantime. The pup may be just fine, but small. IF the pup is otherwise ok, at some point in the future it may well catch up or overtake the others. Be sure to keep them all warm.
Good luck.

So, what are the weights of all 3 pups at 11 days.?? Your description sounds like 2 of them have gained 2 oz daily but the other pup has only gained 1 oz... is that daily or 1 oz total???
They should double their birth weight in 7-10 days, has that happened??
I have a friend who has bulldogs and she has lots of problems. she has told me of several other friends who have had similar issues.. they are not an easy breed to raise
