A friend of mine is thinking of getting a pup out of this female. I would like some opinions on her pedigree especially the father line (hips). The female is due any day now.

Well for starters, the dog appears to have been bred when it was 17 months old. Hence we know it's untitled, which doesn't necessarily have to be a deal breaker but have health checks been done? Hips? Elbows? And, the FEMALE is TOO FREAKIN' YOUNG.

Dog is ZVV I titled and an import from Slovakia. She was importet pregnand. Health checks have been done hips are clear (slovak rating A), but I am worried about her sires hips. As i have found out, hip issues can be recessive.

Had to be bred before the 1 if the ZVV1 requirements are the same as 18 mo. old min. for SchH1. The dog turned 18 mos. on the 10th of January so if it's due any day now, it was bred in December at 17 mos. and before the minimum age for SchHI. I'm guessing the plan was already set to sell the bitch and the score was an ugly pre-determined PASS. Just how ugly was it?

Minimum age for doing SVV 1 is 14 months,she passed it on the 4th of October 2009 when she was 15 months old so I don´t see any problem with the trial.She has A stamped hips and elbows.I don´t understand those who are telling you to run away. The sire of the puppies Cherokee is also a high quality male just like the dam Ibana.

I wantet opinions on the dam's sire http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/pedigree/521056.html , not the upcoming litter's sire. Ibana's scores are 93/87/86=266.

Out of 14 dogs on this pedigree,

I see only 2 normal hips that I equated to "A" stamp. None of my imports have anything but "A", no numbers, I'm willing to learn if I am incorrect. Trish :)

I see:

A-1= 4 Normal
A-2= 6 "Fast Normal"
A-3= 1 "Noch Zugelassen"
and 1 Ausland or A-6

Sorry man but I have counted 6 with excellent hips,5 with good,one with fair and 2 dogs that whose hips results are not stated.

I can see white traces on the back toes of Ibana, her rear angulation is not that good.
