How did you all come up with your kennel name?

Well personal experience, some king of reminder for succes on this darn bumpy road of life...... You can do what you put your mind into if you really want it..

mine is hard to pronounce. I had the one of the owners of my puppies try... it was interesting. I have English name for it also.

My Grandmother had a passion for horses.  She worked for 50 years to build her horses to meet her desires.  It cost her her first true love, her father (and his wealth), and Motherhood.  I couldn't agree with all that she did, but I can say that 1. She believed in what she was doing and 2. she had no regrets.  When she was dying, I was told to take care of some of her more special horses and her legacy; Magic Meadows.  I did as my Grandmother requested and I feel that she put so much passion and love into what she did and at least that was worth recognition so now we have Magic Meadows Horses and Zauber Wiesen European German Shepherds (Magic Meadows in German).  I hope to get out of my horses and dogs what she got out of her horses (without the loss of loved ones).  I would hope that I unlike her can always find more value in my loved ones and then put "the rest" of my love and passion in the dogs (although our dogs are family members to the ENTIRE family) and horses.  In the end, I will say that her Appaloosa Horses are the best I have ever had to train and handle.  Kuddos Grandma.

That's a very nice sentiment Wlpool. I have always loved Appaloosas.My ex boss didn't like them.I think it was cause they were smarter then her and she didn't know how to work with them.lol
