I use a sportdog bark collar for my one dog who likes to fence fight with the neighbor's dog. I like this collar because it has 6 levels that increases by itself with eachbark within so many seconds. So the first bark the dog gets a small correction if the dog keeps barking it jumps up the levels, if the dog stops, it starts back on the lowest level. I never use it when I am not home, I would be worried about leaving any electric collar on a dog when not arround.

Then my adult female became a problem barker, I put it on her for a few days, and had to rotate it because thry figure it out pretty quick when it's off.
Then a few days ago I had the two running in the back yard, ran inside for maybe 15 minutes and when I came back out my female had chewed the collar off my happy male and crushed the box! I swear they were just waiting fo me to run in for a minute. Dirty schemers....
So thanks to those of you who posted links for the better collars. Time for a new one :-) And the dummy collar is a great idea!
Thanks

LOL... That is too funny!!! Looks like I am going to invest in one, I would rather put that on her than to crate her part of the day/night. Thanks everyone for the input...

The Tritronics XS is the best one I've ever had. I've this model for several years. It's small, easy to set the levels and will turn off on it's own when not in use. No charging necessary, as it uses a battery. It's a great price too.
Be sure that your dog is getting enough exercise and stimulation. You probably are, but just wanted to mention it.. ;-)
