Seriously, it cost me over four hundred round trip to fly Spokane Washington to Chicago IL...You can round trip to Germany for that small an amount?  That's wonderful!

421 Euro round trip from Frankfurt to Chicago... American Airlines, I always use them, they are also very good and cheap for the dogs... you can take them for 150 $ as extra luguage...

I also checked on my trip with American Airlines and yes you can fly your dog with you as extra luggage for $150 although the total weight for the crate and the dog cannot be more than 100 lbs .......... being that a #500 crate weighs 27lbs and my dog is 81 lbs ......... it comfortably put me over the 100 lb limit ........... I spoke to 2 differant AA agents when I began to plan this back in November. Darn ! wish I could have flew with this option.    Greg

Never had problems with weight on AA, also took some heavy males over in those crates...

Due to the fact you ended your post in cheers, Im going to make the assumption that your australian. If not, then forgive me. An ex of mine was australian, tendency to assume when I see such terms. From AU to Frankfurt is going to run you about 1500aud, give or take varying on where you may reside. If you're in the states then I might advise you leave in latter march. Again, depending on where you live, if you leave in april it will run you about high 800s/low 900s. Leave in march it will run you about mid 600s to mid 700s. All of these estimates are round trip.

I would be flying out from Chicago.  I didn't know you could bring your dogs back as luggage.

All I would have to do is bring the dogs to the Airport in a kennel and that's it?  Do I need any other documents or Veterinary health check or etc.?
