Can people give their discreet and candid opinion about Branko v. Salztalblick and his potentials as a stud?? Has he produced anything worthwhile yet??

The Salztalblick kennel has consistently produced really excellent quality dogs. While I do not know of Branko personally (as I have never seen him), I would not hesitate to breed to anything that this kennel produces, as it is an old, old kennel name that has lasted for many years. One cannot do that without gaining the knowledge and expertise it takes to maintain a good kennel name by producing good dogs.

Hey, it takes TWO to make good dogs !! One good stud is not enough -- one good bitch is only half the pie.
I DO NOT profess to know much about some of these working lines, although I do have lots of opinions about lots of things -- and I'm not afraid to say so.
This is obviously a quality animal (to me) and
there are generations of QUALITY behind him.
I have had E. German and Belgian working lines in the past. I bred to an Andrel v. Klinen Pfal son 25 years ago !! This Dog goes back to him, Racker Itztal
(known in all circles as THE BEST in QUALITY, INTELLIGENCE AND WORKING ABILITIES), and also some
of Karl Fuller's great 'original' herding stock ! What could be better ??? If you have the opportunity to use him, and a bitch that is worthy - then go for it !! The best breedings are never made because people
don't want to drive the extra 2 hours or pay a little more. If you don't try - you won't know. it's that simple.
