Hi everybody!
Can anyone tell me what are the chances of a gsd without known parentage (unknown category) in a dog show?

I know that in most shows you have to send in a 4 generation pedigree with your registration...

How do you know that it is a GSD, if you don't know who the parents are?

Do you have any pictures of you dog? Where did you get him/her...I think most areas have fun shows...not sure if you need a pedigree to get into those..it might be something to look into if you cant get him into an SV show..just a thought.

Yes, I have pictures of the my dog & I tried posting them here but cud not as I dont have his pedigree. At the time I bought him, I was not so keen on showing him but now that I have been to one of the shows held here by the local kennel club, I am interested in showing him. This is the reason I was asking the above posted question.
Anyways, I will check with the kennel club secretary as well.
If anyone wants to look at his pictures & advise me on what he is like & if he is good enough to be taken to shows, please tell me. I will post the pictures or send them to your e-mail id if so.
