Good Morning,
I was just wondering what people feed when their female is pregnant and when do you start with the extras?
the reason I ask I was at a kennel and the people feed their females
1/2 cup of cooked liver < reason for that is they said produces large pups and produces milk>
1/2 cup of cottage cheese
and the normal amount of kibbles <TOTW>

you need to feed high protien high fat food 30/20 at minimum that should be started when the dog is bred if not before I'm not sure that TOTW has a performance food

I feed normally until pregnancy is confirmed. but I feed raw and cottage cheese and yogurt and eggs.... then I increase to about double if she can take it...
It's during nursing that the increase comes... some girls have eaten close to 9lbs of food a day .. depends on the litter size
