Get well soon ….

Gene England (advanck9@nctc.com) had extensive knee surgery last Thursday.

Many people here might like to send him a “Get Well and Feel Better Soon!” email.

Hubs had a knee replacement, it can be a tough go.
Avoiding a staph infection is the key.

I voted for Obama?? ROTFLOL!! Gee, that would have been a little difficult, wrestleman, seeing as how I'm one of those pinko Canucks, living in a land where I don't have to pay a small fortune for health care!

No, I'm a registered nurse, so I have a little more empathy for people with health problems than Raymond obviously does. I've nursed patients who have had to have knee replacements done over again, due to infections. Not a nice place to be in...

Two solid months of IV antibiotics, 3x a day, then back into hospital to have it done all over, then months and months of painful rehab...

get well gene, my sister is going through hip replacement and believe me it is no walk in the park.

I've heard nothing but good about Gene on this board, however, I don't know the man.
That being said, I wish him the best! (Apparently Raymond doesn't...)

I agree Raymonds post was a little 'out there', but like wrestleman said, everyone, including you GTR, spouts their opinions -some more vocally than others! It's nice that we can still do that.

P.S. Maggie, he called you great, and quoted you! Wonders never cease!

it does not matter what page it was on but if you cant post on topic just "change channels" no need for the crap. the topic was not gene england the bum ripped me off. no it was about somone having surgery. if you want something bad to happen to gene then go pray to your god for it to be done.

To the civilized people:
I started this topic for those that are civilized. Gene has had both knees and parts of his shins replaced. I believe most rational humans would show some respect for a man who has accomplished so much and given knowledge and help to so many, for the last 3+ decades.

To the uncivilized:
Try saying it to Gene’s face.
