Aww poor thing!!! It looks so sad but happy to be saved!! You are so awesome Steph. I was driving up the road back to home though feet of snow and there in the middle of the road was a Great Dane!!! There was a Sheriff behind me so I pulled over and waved him to come up to the side of me and he just passed by and passed by the dog!!! WTH!!! So I got out and called it to me.It came up to me and leaned on me as they do but also probably for warmth.I had Cain with me....the GSD I took in and has some how become my dog...and he scared the Dane.SO I had the Dane jump in the front with me.I had my neighbor with me so he sat in back and the Dane in the front seat. This Dane was up to my waist.SO I went home and called all over. Finally got a hold of the vet and she checked the rabies # for me.She knew the people as they were clients of hers and I brought the big guy to the vet and the owners were waiting for him.It was such a good feeling that he had a home.It was good to see that they cared and were happy I found him.I can't believe that there are so many people out there that aren't appreciative and don't care about their dogs.Good that there are people like you to take them in when there aren't owners waiting for them.

Number one reason I can't do rescue - I could never let them go.  That is just about the sweetest puppy face I have ever seen.

Steph, poor dude.  I still do not know why, look at those eyes, that love and a big thank you. I am sure you are going to fatten him up.
Always,

In answer to the question, "Who am I?", I say you are FAR AWAY EYES. Steph, she's lucky you got her, and we can't wait to see her with a sparkle in those eyes after you've got her looking at the peak of health. God bless you for doing what you do.

God bless you Steph, and all the others that rescue dogs.

You truly are special people.

Ditto ....... Ninja181's comments.

Those are typically sad looking eyes.  I am sure soon enough they will be the happiest eyes for the camera.
Best wishes Steph. X

Please help Steph feed these lucky dogs. They are lucky, of course, because she found them!
Look at those eyes. Sighhhh
