I would be laughing if this weren't so sad. I had the TV on while baking and Judge Judy was on. A couple were suing the breeder of their Old English Bulldog because they said it was not able to be registered. The breeder produced papers for CKC registration but the couple wanted all of the money they lost from stud fees they could have received had the dog been registered, which they figured was around $2000. THE DOG IS EIGHT MONTHS OLD!! On top of that, the dog got bigger than they thought it would, they keep it in the garage because it jumps on the kids and it has eaten the tires on their car. Surprisingly, Judge Judy said "Oh, so you haven't properly trained him, that's not the breeder's fault!" What they really wanted was to give the dog back and the breeder wouldn't take him!!!! The breeder won the case, but idiots on both sides. They all could use a good flogging and none should ever own an animal. Everybody just wanted their money, no regard for the poor dog. The breeder could care less that this poor boy is living in a garage, minimal contact, no training and most likely going to end up in a shelter and ultimately euthanized, made me sick. Just had to vent, thanks.

I agree--I had it on too but I wasn't to where I could really pay attention. Thanks for the update on what the lady really wanted. Sad, very sad.

I wish it were my job to put people like this is a crate in the garage and feed them dry kibble every day.

I saw that episode too via the DVR. The plaintiff made some comment at the end about the dog and maybe finding a new family? I didn't really hear and then erased the stupidity from my DVR. I about choked though when the plaintiffs were griping that they "lost $2,500 in stud fees" on a PUPPY considering the dog was only 8-9 months old. Glad Judge Judy checked them on some of their ahem...issues.
