I have a Siberian Husky about 5 years old.
Shes done this once before but stopped and started acting normal..
First she began to not listen to anyone and act like her toy was her baby or something, got very protective over it when she is never like that. She began to pull out the hair on her belly area, no where else. She was barely drinking or eating, and just stayed curled up in her corner.
Then soon she started to chew at two of her upper nipples and i do not understand why.
Like i said she snapped out of it before but this time she still hasnt, shes listening to people now but she wont stop chewing on two of her upper nipples and they are getting raw.
The first time she acted like this we took her to the vet and all the tests came back good and nothing was wrong. They gave us some gel like medication to put on her nipples and that was it.
We still have some of that gel medication and put it n her but she just licks it right off.
I really need some advice.

Sounds like she's had a false pregnancy. How long has it been going on?

She is definitely having a false pregnancy; when was her last season? Keep an eye on her for a temperature and it won't her not to eat for a couple of days, I know it is worrisome but believe me Siberians are very premative. I know you will keep a close eye on her and any further problems, contact your vet for another checkup, it can't hurt and may relieve your worries.

You can put an Elizabethan collar on her if she continues the chewing to the point where it's causing damage.
Yes, I also think she is having a surge of estrogens from a false pregnancy.

Sounds like a false pregnancy. Or, as a friend puts it, "Air Puppies".

They're not air puppies...I saw a yorkie one time who had a stuffed teddy bear, mouse, dog and dolphin for her litter. Sometime about six weeks later she weaned them leaving nothing but a motley little spit-covered brood.
