I do not breed, own or show, American showline GSDs.  So I was not getting defensive or felt insulted at all for any comment made on this forum regarding such topics... I was simply stating an opinion...LOL!  I have noticed that if you make a statement that has truth it, the attention gets thrown to something else... such as my spelling. Go ahead and have your fun. That just shows your childish ways.  I thought this forum was to better the breed, not bash each other and their dogs. Did anyone on here write the standard for the GSD. Now about the AKC confirmation showing..  Those of you have such strong opinions should take a good look at the way things are done. I think you will find that its political no matter where or what kind of showing done. Yes even in the "German" way of doing things.....I am not against or for either, just trying to enjoy my dogs....Also, please notice I am not directing this at any one person.

Well, this list is here partly FOR fun, isn't it? I sure as heck don't take much of it seriously. 

Everything here ends up "this" way? You mean, "this" as serious, political and with strong opinions?

I guess some convos do get heated and maybe a bit nasty, but a lot of conversations don't.

well nonocana I am pleasantly surprised that you have noticed the same thing I have been shouting about1 True that when the truth is made evident all one receives is hate speech about how atrocious your spelling or sentence structure is! Lets see where do I need some punctuation at??? HUM MM! But what I find amusing aside from frustrating : is the punctuation police make as many, if not more errors than the poster they are ostracizing!  A simple solution to avoid those nasty punctuation police is to hit the spell check button once finished  composing your message! Another suggestion is to bath twice a week in a solution of table salt to toughen up your skin cause you will need it here. And yes as those kids get older they do  revert back to their childish antics!!
