I sell all puppies on a health contract which requires a vet checkup within 3 days and they have yet to take the puppy to the vet. I also stipulate that if the puppy cannot be properly cared for- it must be returned to me and no third party. I never mention a refund.
What would you do? In the past- I have refunded all but the deposit. I'm just shocked though because I've never had anyone return a puppy for being a puppy...

I just took one back for about the same reason. The guy emailed and complained a little and I said "Bring him back" I refunded him and that was that. I dont want anyone doubting their purchase, or the poor dog is the one to pay for it in the long run.
It has made me a bit skeptical. I had a man that was interested in a pup this week and he about drove me crazy with his questions, undecisiveness and not being able to work out details, so finally I said no way, even though I think he really wanted the pup.
You will find an even better home for that pup. I know it..
Good luck..
