Any knowledgeable Nutrionists on this Site?  .... I have been comparing two very good premium complete dog foods on behalf of some dog club members.

With regard to the ingredient Analysis there is a difference in FIBRE content - one is 4% and the other is 2.5%.  May I ask how important you would consider this difference in Fibre content?

Thank you for any opinions.
Regards, Vixen

i think the key is what they are using for fiber.  alfalfa is always preferable to beet pulp because of nutritional content.  beet pulp is nothing but waste product and has been found to contribute to ear problems.

Hello Ziegenfarm,  Thanks for that information.  I have checked and the 4% Fibre uses sugar beet pulp and Alfalfa, but the other one with 2.5% only uses sugar beet pulp.

Found your comments regarding these two ingredients really helpful, thank you.
