I understand your want to find a high drive male to mate to your female, but sometimes overselection of one particular trait can present problems in itself.  You should be looking for a strong male that is balanced in many aspects, and especially pronounced to compensate any aspects of weakness she may carry, or you will quickly find issues that will need your attention in future generations.  This will not prevent you from producing extreme drive puppies as a result, there will inevitably be enough to select from.

If you're interested in purchasing a male, rather than a stud service, there's a rather nice one for sale at Eurosport http://www.eurosportk9.com/forsale/e/eick/eick.asp that you might consider.  I've seen some nice progeny and grand progeny of this dog to know there's no shortage of drive, as well as other important qualities that should not be forgotten.

I had a whole litter of psychos, half West German lines and half Czech. I have to admit, they are amazing sport dogs but not what you would call clear headed...the girl in my avatar is one of them. To my knowledge, she always has a toy in her mouth, even trying to hold a ball while eating. With any luck she is 3 weeks pregnant right now...but I got right back on track with West German lines again. The stud is VERY clear headed, all West German, retired police dog. That should give me some relief! I know a lot of people prefer Czech, but I am due for a little peace! Yeah, some nice, mellow double Fero lines for my next keeper, thanks very much.

Yea I am in the need to find a mate for her  i this year I just find it very difficult to find the right one

in saw you wrote in another post that if the exstreme  dogs in litters are rare and its most the average dogs you see but im interested in a very driven dogs dogs that may not give you the points in sport because of their very exstreme drives maybe more like a gsd with mal drives but a mind as a gsd if you understand

this is what males I have thought about

Ink Zoterhund is found on you tube

Tax Od Policie

Max Van Tiekerhook

Quincy Vom Rosseleck

Lary Von Der Staatsmacht

Hard Eqidius

her down sides my female is

very handler soft she is a ultimate pleaser

and she is very small like as litle as a mali female she is as fast as a mali because her is weight is 22 kg small and fast

an d I dont like the angulated dogs and sloped back like a more straight back

Milder, I used the Czech lines to do a real outcross to correct a few problems, such as over size. I wound up with dogs of much tighter structure.

Edit: You know, I should clarify. I wanted to make some improvements in my line, and the dog I wanted to use just happened to be Czech and have the features I was looking for. I didn't pick him because he was Czech but because he was local, a great worker, and had the improvements I wanted.

vommarischal

yes I would not use a dog just because he is czech lines but because of the dogs workability and good health
