Can anyone out there comment on what I have just been told.  We are Willowdale have DNA'd our dogs since the AHT/UK scheme commenced.  Recently I asked for a kit to do a female and was asked which one the KC one or the new AHT cheme ISAG 2006.  I then was informed that the one I had been using was the AHT/UK one - so I phoned the KC and was told there scheme was ISAG2004.  On then checking with the AHT they told me that the new scheme ISAG2006 was compatible with Europian DNA tests.  I asked the AHT could I do both and they said yes but that would cost double!!!  The KC will recognise the ISAG 2006 but it is not compatible with those DNAs I have already done on my previous parentage of the dog I now wish to do.  So in effect I have to start dnaing all over again.  I have at least 4 generations done with the AHT/KC system and am now in limbo.  Has anyone else experience of this?

Jean
