Sorry if this has already been asked. I searched and couldnt find it if it was. I was just given a dog with Slovenská pink papers that I would like to convert to AKC. I emailed the kennel club and was given paperwork to fill out but its not all in English so Im kinda confused as to where things go. I need to know if the one sheet posted as "export pedigree" will transfer the dog into my name or do I need to ask for other paperwork to do this.
I was given two fees. One was $20.00 and the other $45.00 and I'm having a hard time understanding what Im paying for. I dont want to piss anyone off there asking the same questions over and over but Id like to know what Im getting when I pay. Any HELP would be GREATLY appreceited!

Thanks for the reply. AKC is telling me that the original papers must be in my name or they will register the dog in whoseever name is on the paperwork which isnt me. I went to the website before posting here and it also states this. Cant have that happen or I will never be able to get the dog in my name. Is what they are telling me correct? Or can I just fill out the AKC paperwork add my name and send the papers that I got from the dog?

The dog needs to be transfered into your name in Slovakia by the breeder. If you have papers without that transfer than you need to contact the seller and he/she should do that for you. If they will not do that for you then call me and I'll see if I can help. Keep the Original and always send only identical copy. If you mail original to AKC make sure that you do it registered mail and insure the document for high value. If you lose the original you are in trouble.
I'll PM you.
Prager Hans
