I have always liked the deep reds and mahogany color but are youngest girl is a blk/tan and when i look at her i am not use to seeing tan dogs and i wounder if there is a shade of tan that is what most people want lighter or darker what do you guys who like the tans like to see some pi cures of your favorite blk/tans would be great just so i can see if it is the same as what i like i know everyone is different but i am curious as what you guys like

She will be 2 in april i need to take some new pics her pedigree should be on here heidi isis blair take a look tell me what you think and i will get some pics up soon for you to look at  thanks for responding i value all the good info i can get

Hey Blair:

I am not sure if you are wanting to see pictures of black/tans - or black/tans together with black/reds. 

I have both.  My female is mahogany and I have a boy that is tan - but not a light tan - here is a resent pic.  My female is also my avitar... I am partial to the red - but when I look at him - I like his color as well..

She is a bute i love her tan color she looks alot like my girl i just wonder what everyone else thinks is the shade of tan that you look for i catch myself thinking its a faded red then i think no it is suppost to be that shade i will get some new pics soon and post them you can tell me what you think thanks for showing your pretty guys and have a good christmas

I have seen several puppies start off tan and turn red later. My Rikkor Bad-Boll daughter did not have great color as a baby and matured to be very red.  I don't mind a rich, well pigmented tan at all, either. There are of course colors inbetween tan and red that are open for interpretation, some would say tan, some would say red.

Color is just icing, the important stuff is underneath!
