She may just be wolfing it down to quickly.  Try feeding her more smaller meals. (If you are not already of course)

are you doing heavy excercise after she eats? If so i would wait a few hours after she is done eating before doing anything.

I am afraid to ask?   What are you feeding this pup/

let me guess and hope not so....the purina dog chow with the colored nuggets,,,,,   plastic in your hand... cannot think what its name is ,,,but  I  have had many people call me and tell me  I am feeding    _BENEFUL_______________________ the one with the white bag and all the colored pics of veggies and colored red, green, brown and yellow nuggets...and   Every dog that I have seen , throw it  up and re eats this mess....Put your hand in the bag and feel it...Feels like nuggets of Playdough...squeeze it.....try eating a handful of it...

No matter what the kind is..,   change your feeding habits and change the food   gradually...smaller meals  2  x a day....

Some pups just eat their food in a gulp and they have to burp it back out...A lot of high food , high prey dogs ingulf their meals...Mine still do , at least 4 of them.  I have to feed small amounts   2 times a day instead of one meal.  I also put broth or warm water , in to moisten if no raw being fed.

wet the food - this will help if the reason for vomit is dry food - many dogs will upchuck their food if they eat it dry - put some water on it and this will fix the problem, if that's the problem.  Yes, also if the pup gulps down the food it will often come back up for "another try at chewing" - or there could be a medical problem such as megasophigus (probably spelled that wrong)

Usually  Mega shows up earlier than this age...if it has mega it should have been spewing its milk and its first meals mush up long time ago...

I would guess that it is gulping food or the food is not of good quality...may have grease content too high or be a corn base or    good ole Purina  Beneful.....

Or ???     Kindly tell us what and how you are feeding.   May help us to be more direct.

I dont like the wet the food idea. It doesnt allow a dogs stomach to actually work to digest the food IMO, is just "passes on by" and could lead to digestion problems IMO.  Also expanded kibble and increased gas will cause bloat if you do this as a everyday thing. Now even though the kibble is already expanded a lot more air (what essentially gas is, just a lot of excess air) will get huffed down while the dog is trying to lap up the water in the process compared to them just eating the kibble completely dry.

What i do to avoid both is feed my dog dry kibble then wait about a hr or so and then give him his water back. Gives him enough time for his stomach to work to digest most to all of his food so when he gets his water back there is no kibble expanding in his stomach. Been doing this since 8 wks old and never had a problem.

Also if your dog eats to fast give him kibble little by little until his meal at the time is completed.

Dry kibbles if swallowed fast   get hung up in the throat and cause dog to regergitate....I  cannot take some pills as they get stuck in my throat and up they come..

Use broth of veggies you cook , chicken, beef or any thing you boil....all veggie broths are good but do not have much left in vitamins but do have flavor.  Throw a couple of raw eggs in and stir around..give some moisture

TheOne, that makes alot of sense.  Water does dilute the stomach enzymes and bacteria, which is why we are not to drink for one hour after a meal either.

I didn't say soak the food.  Just put some water on it immediately before you feed it.  If the dry food is the problem, this will fix the problem.  Have seen it many times.

ps I have wet (immediately before feeding, not soaking) my dogs' food for as many years as I've owned dogs, and never have I had any dogs with digestion problems, gas, and not one bloat (knocking on wood) - I also like water added to food to "force feed" water - hydration is important and getting more water in the system can only be a good thing IMO.
