Vikram, u didn't add that it's also wrong in 'principle'. D dog'll definately be confuse or dis oriented in real life situation. Check this: two trained GSD's used in a multinational oil company were ordered to attack/apprehend two pipe thieves, but bcos it was a pre-arranged thing btween the thieves and dog handlers, the two thieves couldn't run but stood amazed, at the turn of event, while watching the two GSD's attacking each other. Dis happened bcos the GSD's were trained or programmed to attack/apprehend a supposely fleeing thief, but since nothing was fleeing, except d other GSD in motion: then d attack n attempt to apprehend, resulting to a severe dog-fighting. Although d thieves escaped but were arrested a couple of days later."Trainers be careful"

not only that the dog is a sleeve beggar in training and just focussed on sleeve without an ounce of fight drive or social aggression towards the helper. Just noticed that so thought I would share for the board

cheers

Why would the dog show social aggression towards its owner????? How do you know the dog has not an ounce of  fight drive?????Please explain.

As a decoy i can tell you that it is not a horrible thing to start your bite work with your own dog as long as you transfer the prey drive for the sleeve into defense later. I have seen people do this with success but i don't recommend it to everyone because many people do not know how to do this plus if your not a trained helper you can ruin your dogs bite work if you don't  know what to look for.

Amature hour,
No harness that I can see, tied to a fence post.
If this is agitation its the wrong person to do it.
Not impressed.

Not impressed by that video at all, even if the Guy is the Dogs handler he is certainly no Helper doing the things he did He is taking his dog for granted and one day he will get bit, I will not let any of my two Dogs bite unless the Helper is Qualified or with a Qualified Helper to guide the would be Helper Not even the Pup
A session or two of doing it wrong can mess a young dog up The title should have been 'Not how to do it'

Have you guys ever heard of post work? That is what is going on here the dog is being worked in prey and that is what you can do with your own dog  to build prey and bite development.

Also no one should work thier own dog in real defence work that would be just stupid. No one should put their own dog in a position where dog feels it has to defend itself and fight off his handler. Have a nice one.
