On Friday I had the pleasure of meeting Hans (Prager) at his facility. Hans was great and gave me a tour of his kennel facility, which was spotless and well maintained. I saw some very very nice dogs in his kennel, a couple I wanted to take home with me. From there Hans was kind enough to invite us to his house where we had a fabulous lunch. Hans has a beautiful home and GSD's were everywhere. I was having some withdrawl symptoms from being away from my dogs, this was quickly remedied by the wonderful GSD's at Hans' home.
I can tell you that Hans has some really nice dogs and a wealth of information regarding GSD's. We got to talk about dogs and training with an excellent meal surronded by beautiful dogs. I wish I had more time to actually work some dogs with Hans, perhaps on my next trip.
Hans, I wanted to thank you and Debbie for a great visit. It was one of the highlights of our trip.

This goes on to further confirmed that reputable 'GSD' breeders are responsible, kind-hearted, calm-headed,etc, but when it comes to who buys or recieve their puppies/dogs, they appear rigid,to the ethics n standard surrounding the breed. Don't know u Mr. Hans, but for someone to describe ur kennel as 'spotless' speaks mount everest of you n your facility. Keep d good work on d gsd up.

Vikram,
I can assure you that I have nothing to sell and nothing to gain. I don't breed dogs, I don't import dogs and I don't have a website or anything to sell. I train with a small group of people and decoy and offer advice for free. I often have people asking me to train their dogs and I invite them to come out and train for free. Hans was very gracious and and I enjoyed meeting him, so I thought I'd mention it. It's not often people on the PDB get to meet each other. I have been fortunate to have met several people from the board and they are great.
Ibrahim, the food was fantastic! A great lasagna, salad, hot homemade bread, and delicious cookies. Did I mention very good beer also? Hans and Debbie could not have been more hospitable. The GSD stories and talk was just icing on the cake.
Nigerdeltaman, the kennel was spotless and all of the dogs were very well cared for and in excellent condition. It was an impressive visit.
