It is crap! You may as well just feed your dog corn, cause thats all that is in that food! You could do much better.

Terrible food........Feed RAW. Or at least a grain free kibble. The stuff we all used to believe about this expensive and "high quality" pet food is a crock! They have no nutrional value and by feeding these foods we are slowly but surely killing are pets.

There are several good dogs foods out there if you dont want to feed RAW. Do a search of the messageboard. Keyword: Dog food ar kibble....

I agree, Science Diet is one of the worst foods out there.

I would look into Taste of the Wild if you want to go grain free. It is a good food.

Well I knew this one would be bashed. Sorry but I have worked there for the last 23 years. All ingredients are lab checked before entering the facility. And grain isn't bad. Dogs are not total meat eaters! Cats are closer. I'm sure the comments will arrive but thats ok. I have fed it for all of these years and my dogs look and act great. They have all died of old age, exept the one bloat that was caught in time but the piece of shit dog vet (Not my normal,) this was suppose to be a good ER vet )(NOT!) fed her a few hours after she woke up, and that leds to a whole other story. Anyway, other then that I have had excellent luck with this food and will continue to feed it until I don't. Bring on the bashing!  :)
If you would like to see my dogs feel free. You can check them out at vomwind.com
Several of my puppy buyers also feed it and have beautiful healthy dogs. To each his own
Have a great day everybody

Do you mean Science Death??? Crap in a bag.... dogs are omnivores and do eat vegetable and organs, etc but not just grains and certainly not the extruded cooked thing that comes out of the bag.. .. and yes, many dogs will eat it because of all the additives to enhance taste and aroma.....
The protein found in a bag of kibble is nothing close to the protein found in real meat..... can't even compare

Years ago I met a veterinarian who was employed in the past by Hills and she didn't have a whole lot of good to say    .... my experience with raw over kibble is enough tom convert me for the rest of my and my dogs lives and they thank me for it

I fed my dogs science diet years ago, and they were itching and scratching, till their fur fell out.

Maybe they have changed their formula since I used it 20 years ago.

I now feed raw and inbetween that I feed www.frommfamily.com   Fromm adult gold,  I did not know until now that the Fromm family invented the first kibble dogfood in America, and also developed the first canine distemper vaccine.

They are into their 4th generation of a family owned business, and all ingredients are from right here in the U.S.
I would have been feeding my dogs Fromm from the beginning if I had know about them sooner!
