Music calms the savage beast.
Nice idea but I think I really know what's going on there.

Sure I do.. They sing in the Choir , too. Pappa sings Base, Mamma sings tenor and all the dogs chime right in!
Johnny Cash:
I remember when I was a lad
Times were hard and things were bad
But there's a silver lining behind every cloud
Just poor people, that's all we were
Trying to make a living out of black land dirt
We'd get together in a family circle singing loud
Johnny Cash: Daddy sang bass
June: Mama sang tenor
Statler Brothers: Me and little brother would join right in there
Johnny: Cause singing seems to help a troubled soul
One of these days, it won't be long
I'll rejoin them in a song
I'm going to join the family circle at the throne
All:
Oh, no, the circle won't be broken
By and by, Lord, by and by
Johnny Cash: Daddy sang bass
June: Mama sang tenor
Statler Brothers: Me and little brother would join right in there
All: In the sky, Lord, in the sky
Johnny:
Now I remember after work
Mama would call in all of us
You could hear us singing for a country mile
Now little brother has done gone on
But, I'll rejoin him in a song
We'll be together again up yonder in a little while
Johnny Cash: Daddy sang bass
June: Mama sang tenor
Statler Brothers: Me and little brother would join right in there
Johnny: Cause singing seems to help a troubled soul
One of these days, it won't be long
I'll rejoin them in a song
I'm going to join the family circle at the throne
All:
Oh, no the circle won't be broken.

Heck no...I never get there myself. We'll all sit home and sing our Christmas carols right here!
Can you see a GSD and a border mix howling accompaniment to "Away in a Manger", or maybe "It Came Upon A Midnight Clear"?
How about "Here Comes Santa Claus"?
They just haven't got the words down yet!
