Which is your favorite sleeve:
Bite suite:
Scratch pants:
Well I need to get my equipment together, so I though I will see what most people use. If you would be so kind as to state which one you used in the past, and which one you end up with I would appreciate.
Thanks.

Sleeves had a bunch and sold a bunch. Schweikert, Bende, Ebinger, Gappay, Klin, HST, Sporthund, Frabo, Hortons, ect… Everybody has their own preferences and likes and dislikes. At our training sessions it is a helper smorgasbord, with the sleeves we can pick…some are used often some never used… One helper solely likes schweikert arms, I don’t like the handle placement in some of the shcweikert. Another helper loves Gappay..we all agree that the old Belgium Arm that Jim Hill use to sell was one of our favorites. Their have been two different versions since the original and IMO the original was the best, wish they still made them.
The sleeve I love right now, is Ray Allen trial arm. It is light and has a nice sweet spot for dogs to bite, works well for many different breeds. I am buying one for personal use, only draw back between the two our club has one is a bit tight in the forearm, why the other one is perfect, but the dogs bite them so, you have to suck it up.
Sporthund trial sleeve big bite bar, similar to the Scheikert 80 arm, but better bite bar.
I just bought a sleeve from Signature K9 so we will see.
Inter. Arm Ray Basic training sleeve, $125 and has been beaten to hell and back and has held up. My other choice is Harddog chomp.
Scratch pants…Schweikert ¾ padded by far are my favorite, so durable…A nice pair of Nylon pants I got to use was Bende, very light, minimal padding, very nice but the colors take some getting use to. Ebinger makes a very nice pair of Nylon that rivals the Schweikert.
The best advice I can give you, find something that you like and feel comfortable and use it. It may be a trial and error thing.

I like to stick with one company. There is a lot to be said for sticking with one as you develop a good working relationship with them. Returns and swaps are dealt with in one day for example. Mistakes go in your favor as a regular customer. I used to use Argus, but use Ray Allen now. I don't know if Argus is even around any more.
