Does this person actually know their pup(s) are a blue/liver GSD? www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/classifieds/90951.html
They are actually selling the pup(s) for $800.00! I hope know one falls for this "special" blue eyed GSD.
This just annoys me to know end. Maybe they don't mean harm, but it should be clearified in their ad.

I got $800 for my livers on a limited registration. The dogs still work. I bet the person knows, they're just trying to pretend that the fault is a rare and valuable asset!

Mahon sold Timo v Bas grand son liver pups for $800.00 out of Vella.v Haus Drexel...and Zico v Merlin

Pups are liver - their eyes will turn yellow.

Even worse... picture in the ad looks photoshopped to enhance the blue color in the eyes. Look at the rest of the picture, how yellow the newspaper appears. Then notice the blue print on the newspaper the pup is laying on... there is no way a pup's blue eyes would be a brighter blue than colored ink on newsprint.

Whatever... another day, another dollar.

You think these puppies know that they are blue eyed or yellow eyed.They are still cute and someone would give them a good home and they will make great pets as most germanshepherd are pets and companions.Also if they have certain drives then they can also be trained according to their drives.Have a nice one.

Are they liver or blues? I think they'd look browner/redder if they were livers. I don't know what color eyes the blues end up with.

blues end up with eyes like weimeraners - pale yellow. I think these are liver - blues are normally blackish but with a silvery tinge or dark grey, from what I have seen - not brown.

they are blues, he had a litter last year and said they have blues eyes. he had many people tell him those were blues, and the eyes will eventually turn yellow-amber in color. they are not the same blue eyes as a husky.

Hard to tell, from the light they are in, to me. Seems to be evenly divided between liver and blue on the opinions here...They are cute, but I think I'll stick with the normal colors.

They are just as deserving of good homes as normals, but I think that breeders shouldn't cash in on them so much, and stress to the buyer that the color is a flaw, something that you don't want to breed for...Maybe by putting a negative spin on those colors, you won't have so many idiots lining up wanting those, so that breeders breed for those colors.
