Krazy Bout K9s

by Krazy Bout K9s on 19 November 2009 - 02:11

Hey everyone,
This beauty, Tineke,  Belgian Malinois, is a retired border patrol dog, drug and illegal alien search, from down south, Yuma, AZ way. She gets along with cats and kids, other dogs need to be introduced carefully, but she is the sweetest most loving, cuddly dog I know of. She seems to love everyone and just wants to please. Only about 50 pounds, she is on the smaller side. She was retired, then got into a spat with the families pit bull over some turkey scraps and the wife said the Mal had to go, AFTER SERVING HER COUNTRY FOR 6 YRS....I TOLD THE GUY TO GET RID OF THE WIFE OR PIT BULL INSTEAD!!!! Darn I was mad...she is 7 yrs old and doesn't act like it. Very well behaved and trained in German. Does very well in the house. Tineke really loves to play...and man does she tug hard!!!  She had a hematoma on her ear and had surgery, so that is why it doesn't stand. I would really like to see her go to someone near here. I would keep her if I didn't have a bitch female GSD already...LOL...I can't say enough good about this wonderful dog......Contact me at
www.montanagsdrescue.org or info@montanagsdrescue.org  Application must be filled out and submitted...
Thanks, Steph

That's a good dog and I hope she goes to a good home and be happy and content for the rest of her life. Not a Malinois guy here, but I like her a lot.

Thanks Doggie,
and 4 pack and Adi,
I am not a Mal person either, but I rescued 3- 8 month old pups a couple years ago and fell in love with their temperament...I ended up keeping a dark sable male, Ruger, and now this gal, Tineke, comes along. She wasn't doing well in the shelter, close to being put down and the ABMC couldn't rescue her because she had previous bitework training. Being my own group and small I can do as I please. I am so glad that I did, she is the absolutely sweetest dog.  Darn I wish I ahd the room for her...They are a bit more cuddly than GSD's, These guys snuggle up with me in bed...don't get any ideas guys...LOL....but they can be tough at the same time...anyhow, here is a photo of Ruger my male I kept and Phena, a rescue dog that did get adopted out...on my bed of course...
