The best gift is to make sure when we go into harms way that it is not to line the pockets of politicians! There is nothing more horrible than sacrificing ones life for nothing! Did you know that over 50 thousand american service men died in viet nam! What do you think they would say if you woke them up and told them they died for nothing! Oh sammy my dear boy we would like to say thank you for your sacrifice of death for your country! And BTW vietnam never became a free country! America eventually tucked it's tail and left and allowed the communists to walk right on in! I wonder what all those DEAD soldiers would have to say about that when you thanked them for getting killed for nothing!

Raymond, Kiss my Ass!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I served in Vietnam you puke. Save your political crap for another thread Cindy. The last thing I want to hear from your punk ass is your political views. Save them, or flush them down the toilet, at least for today you insensitive moron.
It took 40 years for someone to thank me for serving. Forty stinking years to hear a young Captain that served in Iraq to say "thank you for serving our Country". Thank you for offering your Country your life and the price that you paid for us.
Give us a break today Raymond!! Spout off all your no-it-all stuff another day.
Sheesh and Animules, thank you from me and all my buddies.

Maggie perhaps you need to wake up and smell the herion! Muslum countries strictly forbid the use of drugs under penalty of death. What UD posted is 100% true1 Just what the hell do you think the afgans do with poppies? Pin em on lapels? Since bin laden is not in afganistan why are we even there!
