Which is the most accomplished solid black gsd in the US?

by eichenluft on 10 November 2009 - 15:11

I'd say Mike Deihls' dog has done pretty darn well both before Mike had him, and with Mike -

I was hoping there is a solid black other than Erri. Are you familiar with any bi colors?

Also Casch v Salztalblick Schh3,KKl-1,KKl-1,a-normal http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/pedigree/334189.html

Also Kaos v Eichenluft Schh3, OFA Good http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/pedigree/5/410305.html

Iam familiar with many dogs. However, color matters to me as much as elections for the municipal director of county assistance in Duluth, Minnesota. It should be on a very low value for you too.

On a scale of 1 to 1 of importance, color scores very low here,1 or 2. It's the dog, the complete dog that matters.

You asked for the most accomplished dog currently in USA, that just happens to be black and we answered.

Where are we going from here? to Bicolors? Then sables? Will we end with black and tan?

It's the dog that matters, as a total package, don't get hungup on colors. I'd gladly take a green dog if he was allthat TO ME and a bag of chips.

Excellent choice YR for Bi's.

And WhatIf, there is nothing wrong with wanting the whole pkg.  You have to look at it for the next 10 plus years, you might as well like what you are looking at.  We pay enough for good pups, we should be able to find one in a colour we prefer.

For blacks, I really like Molly's Kaos.

Rex Lupus holds a lot of potential  noted  dad also      check them out,  Molly has several. And if Molly works it  it is done naturally and with confidence.

The sire of Mike's dog, Erri, is also in the US at Van den Heuvel K9.  Orry is very accomplished himself, and proven a great producer on multiple accounts.  http://www.vandenheuvelk9.com/orry.html  My wife owns a daughter of Orry, as do a few others in my area, who are all very pleased.
