So let's get this straight.
Less than .01% of the membership having their expenses paid, votes to expel dues paying members and clubs? And this benefits the German Shepherd Dog How?
Amazing

It does not benefit the breed, or the sport, or the breeders who work so very hard to uphold the SV standard. I suppose it won't matter to big money breeders who buy titled dogs or send their dogs to Germany for titles, but it will aversely affect every breeder with h.o.t. breeding stock.
I understand the aversion to the GSDCA. They have indeed destroyed the GSD within the AKC. But I'd like to pose a question.
If USCA claims to uphold the working GSD and is opposed AKC type dog for their lack of working ability, WHY are dogs with piss poor performance given "pronounced" at the USA SS, year after year?
Pot calling the kettle black, isn't it?
And before anyone pipes up, yes, I know, bitework at the NASS isn't any different, but the WDA isn't the one saying you can't be a member of USA and that USA is ruining the breed.

Well lets see .... my theory.... GSDCA hosting 2013 WUSV.... , now you have to be a member to compete Regional/National, O.K....you must qualify for world team Regional/National (as the rules are already) and as a USA member you now cannot be a member of a competing German shepherd Dog organization.
So we pass an amendment to control the direction of what? 5 -6 world team players at the expense of what? 4000+ members.
Also, a thought, how is this going to be enforced. GSDCA is not a competing German Shepherd Dog organization as they follow their own standards for the American Shepherd completely different from USA, so that's out as a competitor.
WDA is not a competing German Shepherd Organization, it does host Show/Trials but does not have it's own breed registry, so that's out. And with GSDCA and WDA recent agreement, or not, they are still two different org? neither one technically is a competing German shepherd organization with UScA?
Besides the real problem I have is UScA telling members what and who they can or cannot associate with outside of UScA sanctioned events is B.S.

absolutly. in the letter from the pres of USA, it was made to look like such a little thing. to me it is the MAIN thing. i still dont get the whole conflict of interest part, but i guess it doesnt matter.
DVG or WDA ? probably both. neither of them have a problem with me being a member of the other.
