German pedigrees post some dogs as "HD a-Normal (a1)"
and others as "HD normal" What is the difference? Thank you in advance.

no difference. a-normal = a1, a-fast normal = a2, a-noch zugelassen = a3.
in some old pedigrees, you may see a-zuerkannt. this means certified, but does not specify the rating.
