I would like to get opinions of this breeder.  He seems to imply there is no difference between working and show and companion.  I disagree but I would like to hear from others.

Thanks

Funny but the one he listed is not in Texas..    It is called    Never Never Land

YR   in Texas

Whoever it is   has not got his marketing skill very well defined to let a customer walk away with the statement above on the table...
I have an idea he is a german man and he tried to explain the division of so many today that should not be...He may believe that a well rounded GSD should have all the properties above in one dog and be bred off the top of the chart for all three.....but I do not know that...but would be my reasoning...as it should be.

..a good companion  is  just as well a great working dog and should carry the ability to walk out in a ring of judges and have good comfornation , color and temperament and proper angulation and take your breath away..You can have that in one dog..

The dog in  my avitar had it all.

Mike, I guess im the only one who gets your question.
My answer:
The breeder is wrong.
Do your homework and you will find out why.

From the website, looks like a AKC showline breeder. Ask breeder how many of his dogs have working titles or for that matter have working titles in their pedigrees. He does not even post pedigrees of his breeding stock. I wonder how many police depts. in US or in the world actually use AKC showline dogs???

Al,
I have talked to the owner just a few times in the past.  The first time I talked to him he took a picture of one of his champions and compared to an old black and white picture of a Geman-German Shepherd and asked me which dog looked better.  What a question.  Up to date color picture compared to an old blk and white picture.

One time he did say one of his dogs was bought by a policeman but, who knows.  Their hind legs look too weak and seem to drag across the ground.  That can't be good.

Avoid that breeder.

What do you want to do with the dog?
