crappy positioning - had the positioning been better, the hips would look better than they do. But I think they do look good, and certainly passing OFA.

Personally,
I think the Left side doesn't "fit" as proper as the Right side.....?
Could be because of positioning, ?...who knows..I'm not a Orthopedic specialist.
....I would probably re-do them, to make sure the xray had my dog positioned the best way possible. I do think that they should be passable hips according to this xray.......

These hips are a-stamp for sure IMO (according to the SV system)

I agree that the positioning is not that good. Dare I say that these may pass as O.F.A. "excellent"? It is unusual (but really good) to see so much pelvic bone over each acetebelum. I think at least these will earn a solid O.F.A. "good".

The hips are excellent.The positioning is not perfect,the pelvis is slightly rotated .Try to take the X-rays again with the full iliac crest in view and the pelvis absolutely flat.
