Smartflex Supplement - Page 1

Has anyone used Smartflex joint supplement for horses on dogs? If so, how has it turned out? Any side affects? Thanks for replies.   http://www.smartpakequine.com/productclass.aspx?productClassid=4662

I use SmartFlex Repair - 1/8 tsp per feeding.

The side affects are that my poor old Aussie can make it up the stairs and my bank account is just a little bigger!

What I heard is that it way cheaper to use as you use so much less on the dogs as it is scaled up for the horses.  I am also going to try it on my shepherd boy as he is 7 and ended up not being able to take the Missing Link Plus.  Don't know why but he would start profusely drooling etc when given  his weight doseage.  Took him completely off it and all is fine except he is not getting any glousamine at all now.   I know his shoulders could use it as their range was not as good as my vet would have liked when he had his checkup.  So, good luck with it.  I too will be starting it.  Nanci

Anyone have any updates or further info on SMARTFLEX? How much are you giving your dogs? I am thinking of adding this product and could use a bit more information or knowledge of the product.  thanks

I really dont see that my question was answered. Someone started this thread asking about smarflex and only 2 people responded that they had and including the original poster one other person was also thinking about using it so I was hoping to bringing this thread back to life those 2 people may have an oppinion or others that may have missed it originally may also chime in. Myself I am willing to trust that 1/8 tsp. twice a day is correct but personally I would like to hear a couple other people agree with that amount but thats just me. Lastly since I am thinking of buying this product I wanted to ask my question to see if others would answer because if only 2 people on this whole site are using it then perhaps it's not that good.
