My husband is sueing me for alimony.
No.... SERIOUSLY.
The basis for this brilliant decision, according to his attorney, (with a straight face, so I'm told! :-O ) is:
As a world-famous dog trainer and breeder, I am "capable" of making a lot more than my husband's $38./hr., +/- $70 yr.
According to them, I have 12 top-quality breeding GSD's, all of whom are cranking out hundreds of very expensive litters, servicing long lines of females for breeding, while I "flit" around the country, "wining and dining" ...at dog shows.
Any thoughts on this interesting theory? Anyone? Sam?
One thing for sure: If those theories have any merit, I'm sure doing a great job of hiding my success!
ROTFLMAO!

HINT- I have produced 4 litters in the last 7 yrs. One was a single puppy litter. Average sale price $1200.
No wonder I am driving a piece of junk.

Oh. My.
Shelly, right now you are wearing the "long-suffering" crown. Holy mackeral. You need to contact www.abanet.org/legalservices/delivery/delmodesthelp.html and depending on what state you are calling "home" or where the divorce proceedings is being handled, get you some legal help.

Sounds like you need a better lawyer than his. The one with the best lawyer usually wins. ;)

Hi Shelley, just have the IRS show them you W-2 forms. That should clear things up. Then sue him right back.
Always,
Cee
ps: I still have a horse that likes running thru the pucker brush :)))

That pucker brush and horse scenario is still the best idea ever.
Your lawyer better have a good reply for this blatant bluff. They always ask for more so you'll be happy with less. Don't sweat it too much, a lie isn't too hard to figure out.

I don't anticipate any problems proving the frivolous nature of this action. LOL

Why, whatever do you mean? You mean your dogs DON'T live in 24K gold plated crates and you don't wear Gucci on the training field? And here I got into dog training thinking I'd be shopping at Tiffany's and rolling up to shows in an Escalade in no time! Ugh. Guess I'll have to cancel my order for a dog trailer sitting on Mansory's. Damn.

Shelley,
I'm afraid the Lawyer does make all the difference as someone pointed out.
I've never had a good one, they cost too much for my budget.
Bastards!
What about his Aluminum stock pile? He might be walking on a fortune and not even know it. I'd ask for half.
One thing about judgments, they are hard and expensive to collect.
Especially after you've moved out of state.
Its always darkest before the dawn, especially on the west coast.......:)
Hang in there,
Moons.
