Hello Everyone!!
My name is Kassandra and Stryker is my dog. Today he has been missing for 2 months. I am happy to announce that Animal Control in Junction City has caught him!! He is currently at a veterinarian in JC. I just heard from the vet and he is pretty healthy actually. His toe had been injured but has healed nicely and he could use about 5-8 more lbs. I am doing my best to get out there ASAP, by Monday for sure. I cannot thank everyone enough for the suggestions and help. I will never forget this experience...The next time I hear a dog is missing I will be out helping to look and doing whatever I can.
Again thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
I want to thank Beth, Joanne, Kenny and Melinda. Beth for getting all this started, without her I would have just given up. Everyone should have a friend like her. Joanne for opening her heart and her home to me, She and Kenny helped me post 400+ posters and were there for me when I was told Stryker died. And Melinda...She was there every step of the way...even after I left. She took Stryker out of the shelter for me and called in to work so she could do it, she looked for him when I couldn't, She exhausted every lead, Stryker never would have been caught with out her...
I cannot thank everyone by name but Thank you to all those who helped me directly, to those who didn't know me but worked behind the scenes, to the people who called with tips or sightings, to those who helped us look, and to those who kept us in their thoughts and prayers...
I will never be able to thank everyone enough....but I will post pictures of our little family just as soon as I can!
Sincerely,
Kassandra

Wonderful! How far is JC from where Stryker first went missing?
Nevemind, I just looked and he went missing in JC.
Glad he was found hardly worse for wear, that is amazing.

Fantastic!! I know the heartaches of just not knowing you've been thru. Our Duke was lost for 5 weeks in the dead of winter with horrible cold weather, snow, freezing rain... but finally I found him. There were days I felt like giving up, but the thought of him out there somewhere afraid... and knowing he wouldn't come to anyone except me kept me going. So glad your boy will be home soon! Be prepared for a velcro dog for a while!
