Sorry, hit enter before I typed the body of text.

Anyway, has anybody noticed that all of a sudden, there are ads being placed for dogs for sale and the pics show taped ears?  Why would you advertise a dog with a neon sign "weak ears"?

I'm afraid, I can't see a thing to notice, LOL

Okay, now I do!

I DID notice that. Seems very odd to me. BUT on the other hand...maybe this is a new Truth In Advertising kick? Imagine if everyone was honest about the dogs' weaknesses, and you got to make an educated purchase, and you knew what to expect out of your puppies, and you could plan breedings accordingly.........

Actually VomMarischal, that thought at first crossed my mind, and yes, it would be refreshing!  But, they are also being billed as "top quality", which to me, means breedable.   I would think it wouldn't bring as much attention if the ears was allowed to flop as opposed to being the first thing noticed.  I dunno, JMO.

I noticed the same thing.  I guess "top quality" can mean different things to different people.  I guess thye decided to sell the pup and just took a current picture.  At least you have some idea of what you may be getting.
