Teaching by example.

I wouldn't want to muck with either of them!
Friends of ours had a mini schnauzer. One day, Mike, his owner, was doing some yardwork and had the dog, Ziggy out with him. A passerby was walking his dog, and, of course, it wanted to come over and see Ziggy.
"Get your dog off my lawn, please." Mike said.
"Aw, he won't hurt anything. He just wants to say 'hello'.
"It's not my dog I'm worried about. Keep him away!"
"Oh, he's not doing any harm..."
Next thing the guy knew, his dog had a mini schnauzer hanging from its throat...
